ATHENA Speaker Luncheon

Attitude, Performance. Hygiene. All things on a long list of subjects that a leader is responsible for addressing with their team. Holding a leadership position does not automatically mean someone is comfortable or epuipped to handle these topics. Often leaders have never had formal training on how to have a difficult conversation.
In August of 2024, Kelly Dunkle presented Be B.R.A.V.E to the women of Athena. As we know, one hour is just not long enough to talk about such an important topic. This lunch and learn will review information from the 2024 luncheon and build upon that conversation.
During the presentation, participations will learn:
- The importance of a leader's professional relationship with their team members
- How to prepare for difficult conversations
- How to successfully navigate through a difficult conversation
- Conversation starters to help keep the conversation moving forward
- When and how utilize tools for successful documentation and follow-up
- When to move from coaching to discipline
