Please Join NAMI St. Louis for a free virtual Provider Seminar, with CEU credits available at no cost!
Enhancing Care Through Lived Experience
The seminar brings something especially valuable to professional development: the perspectives of people who have experienced mental health conditions and their family members.
Led by a mental health professional, a person with lived experience, and a family member, this seminar combines firsthand experiences with evidence-based information to offer perspectives providers can bring into their work.
What you will take away:
- See care through the patient’s eyes. Hear firsthand what it is like to live with a mental health condition, alongside evidence-based research.
- Understand the recovery journey. Explore how medical care and recovery approaches can work together to support the whole person.
- Hear the family perspective, too. Learn what individuals and families experience as they navigate mental health conditions, treatment and recovery.
Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026
9 a.m.–1 p.m. via Zoom
The seminar and CEU credits are free.
Eligible participants can earn 3.75 clock hours (4.5 contact hours / 0.45 CEUs) through the UMSL Missouri Institute of Mental Health Professional Training Center.
