We are thankful that we have had the opportunity to provide the benefit of enhanced services and meeting room booking privileges at the Community Commons through our partnership with the St. Charles City-County Library District. The Community Commons at the Spencer Road Library has been an extraordinary gathering space equipped with large and small meeting rooms for organizations, businesses, and individuals. With the office space being repurposed, Community Council no longer has a presence at the library.  

 

From March 2012 through May 2023, Community Council managed the meeting space as part of an MOU agreement with the St. Charles City County Library. The library has new priorities, and after 10 years, have chosen to end this MOU agreement. Community Council has found a new home and we are excited what the future will bring. Meeting rooms are still available for use at the Spencer Road Library. Please contact the library directly to book meeting rooms under their new guidelines which were effective January 1, 2023. Community Council Members and library patrons fall under the same booking guidelines. 

While we apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause, Community Council is so much more than meeting rooms! Be sure you're familiar with and utilizing all of the great member benefits.
